First-Time Students

  • NH Residents must fill-out the NH Residency Statement
  • Submit your essay to the Admissions Department
  • Forward your official high school transcripts and/or General equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • At least one letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor, teacher, employer or other knowledgeable source
  • Official SAT or ACT scores (Scores must be submitted directly from the SAT or ACT testing agency)
  • Pay the Application Fee online ($45 for NH residents / $60 for non residents) or by mailing a check or money order to UNH Manchester admissions.

Transfer Students

Exceptions

NH Transfer Connections students are not required to fill out our application form or pay the application fee. You should consult with your current academic advisor and obtain the one page NH Transfer Connections Reactivation form to start your transfer to UNH Manchester.

All New Hampshire Technical Institute and Nashua Community College Dual Admit Engineering Technology students should file their Dual Admit/Intent to Release Information forms with their registrar’s office.

International Students

  • Official high school transcripts and/or high school equivalency with English translations are required
  • At least one letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor, teacher, employer or other knowledgeable source
  • Official SAT or ACT scores (Scores must be submitted directly from the SAT or ACT testing agency)
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS scores. These are required in addition to the SAT if English is not the primary language spoken at home or in school. (Scores must be submitted directly from the SAT or ACT testing agency)
  • Submit your essay to the Admissions Department
  • Transfer students should provide official transcripts from each college attended
  • International Applicant Financial Declaration
  • Pay the Application Fee online ($60 for international students) or by mailing a check or money order to UNH Manchester admissions

The admissions office will not process an application until it is complete with all the required documentation. Applicants should allow three to five weeks after all materials have been filed before anticipating admission notification.
